A gooey glaze you can put on chicken drumsticks, thighs, wings, or breasts. You can use this glaze for the oven or on the grill.
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup rice vinegar
2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
3/4 cup brown sugar
6 cloves garlic minced
1 fresh ginger finely grated
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
8 chicken drumsticks
Sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Directions:
Preheat an oven to 375 degrees.
In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, whisk together the sesame oil, cornstarch, soy sauce, chili sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
As sauce heats, continue to whisk until sauce thickens. Turn heat off, set aside.
Place drumsticks on a 9x13 pan lined with parchment paper, brush drumsticks with half of the sauce.
Bake in the 375 degree oven for about 45 minutes. Coat drumsticks with remaining sauce half way through baking.
Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds
