Fabric Covered Easter Eggs with Macramé Holder

These fabric covered eggs are so adorable! So easy to make, and so fun to decorate your house with.

Fabric Covered Eggs

Cut 1/2inch strips of lightweight cotton fabric about 8 inches long. Soak fabric strips in a 3:1 mod podge/water solution, wrap fabric strips around each egg vertically until entire egg is covered. Allow to dry for 24 hours.

Macramé Holder:

Cut eight pieces of yarn, or string, about 18 inches long. Gather, and tie one end together with a knot 2 inches from the bottom. Tie pairs of strings together in a knot 1/2 inch from the bottom. Separate the four groups and make four new groups of two strings, again tying in a knot half inch from previous knot. Once you have two rows of knots, tie a large knot using all eight pieces of yarn the at the top to hold all the strings together. Trim the ends so they are even. Hang from branches.
